Everything stated about the helmet in that thread by myself and Dimas is still relevant. Who is telling you that this helmet liner is not real? It is not the original factory liner for certain, but I state again that it is not a postwar added reproduction.
This makes sense. The replaced liners you show seem to have wonderful provenance. I may have seen your helmets as the photos you posted look very similar. Is OstFront based in E. Europe? This is where I have been told the refurbished helmets come from.

OstFront is an American based business. The helmets we obtained were from the lot mentioned in the link to the other forum. We got helmets from that lot and there were never anymore. All the helmets on the market today likey came from the original horde found in St.Pete mentioned in the other forum thread.

The images i posted were of helmets in Estonia, if i remember correctly there were the 36's you see in the photo plus approx. 15 39's, i bought 2 of each, this was sometime ago although i cannot remember what year but certainly not recent

                Hello!

Absolutely agree that the liner is not repro and 100% original. Yes, it's so called "blockade Leningrad liner". Real nice shell in good condition with nice markings. Only the liner was replaced during ww2.
