    Real Lenin order?

Hello, I am going to buy this to my humble collection if it´s real.

I don´t know, so I hope that someone here can tell my.
Even if you not are sure, tell me, I´m rather jump it than buy something I don´t know is real....

It cost´s about 30 dollar and the seller dosen´t know if the screw is the real one.

To give a realistic opinion I would need a clear scan of the serial number and the mint mark.

From what I can see, the enamel was replaced in one area. That brings down the price of an original piece.

          I wouldn't pay more than $150US.

                I believe it's a fake!

                The obverse is wrong.
                The reverse is wrong.

                  Ok, thanks.

I should know it was to good to be true, but you never know, I usaly buy my medals on street-sales and there you can find some real cheap medals, lika a swedish miniatyr north star-order in gold for about 20 american cents (5 smal pins for a dollar)

                      Here's a quick overview:

The "Leg?" to the right of the bottom red triangle should be touching the pole. This only occured in the screwback variations.
The MM is wrong for this S/N and the S/N itself is slopily engraved. The screwpost looks to thick and too long. The screwpost base is wrong.

Also, the enamel is damaged in several places as well as cracked.

If you pay good money, might as well find an ideal piece.

I can point you where you ca find authentic and clean piece for around $180.
                        No, not me a dealer.

Thats my big problem, to buy something for 180 bucks means no food, no beer, no party in a month, thats why I always have my eyes open for cheap thing.
The student´s in Sweden dosen´t have so mutch money..

When I collect the whole world (Soviet is one of my favourit countrys) it´t not so hard finding cheap things, I mean a campain medal from some big war dosen´t have to be so expensive and it´s stil funny =)

                          But thanks anyway!

                            Kalle,

I wouldn't buy this one - raises too many read flags...

I agree with the above. The enamal is definatly wrong as are the markings on the back. I believe this to be one of the earlier fakes. Even the manner in which the serial number is engraved is different from the examples I have seen in the past. I believe that by the price the vendor is trying to dump a piece of.... fast!
