My Communist Bloc collecting interests include the Soviet Union, the People's Republic of China (particularly during the Cultural Revolution), North Korea (DPRK), and North Vietnam. It began with the popular Third Reich area, expanded to Soviet militaria (from its involvement in WWII). From there, traveling to China and Vietnam got me interested in those too. My interest in North Korean militaria began by also collecting North Korean awards given to the Chinese for their participation in the Korean War. From there, I also, most recently, have collected current (and past) examples of DPRK awards. Just when I think it's over, it's not.
