    Possible Russian shovel?

I picked this shovel up from a local surplus store, the owner of which was able to offer little more than "...uh, I think it's Russian."

Can anyone help me ID / date it? It has the numerals 41893 stamped on the blade (as did most of the others), and many of the others had a mark that looked like an S inside a triangle (present, but very weak on this one). There could be other markings, but nothing else can be made out through the thick paint.

Yes it is Russian. I really dont know much about markings but maybe it reads..- 41 a year and 893-manufacture thingy.

edit: I've checked a couple of online shops and they have it as Hungarian.

pattern back to WW1 but I'd guess it was used throughout most of the C20.
