    some neat Russkie camo

got this off of ebay , got a real good deal , it is the same cut as the KLMK oversuits or the later MVD suits but in a brown based VSR , I was lucky to get the set for $14 shipped , even though its missing the pants and face mask !

You can see more pics of the MVD type and KLMK here :

I would guess early 1990's as the jacket is identical to MVD camo unis from the same period , however this one has no stamps or any other markings to date it , and although very similar to the 80's KLMK , VSR was not introduced until about 1991 .

Below is Identical cut suit for MVD , these came in 4 known camo patterns according to Desmonds book and is one of the few uniforms Russia marked specifically for a certain branch .
I should add there is one difference , the VSR version is missing one of the sleeve pockets .

              New additions to your collection.

              Panzerwerk,
Your collection is growing. Superb finds on e-bay. Have you ever tried Alex Babushkin on "Front of Russia?" He used to go out to the old battlefields and dig up old Soviet relics. Some of the brass buckles were fantastic. I bought a few Soviet WW2 uniform copies off him at good prices.

If you ever get a chance to contact him, give him my regards. Sgt P.
