Yugoslav uniform ID help

This uniform doesn't make a lot of sense. Not sure of the date of the tunic but after the communist period I think. Buttons appear to have an eagle on them and they used a five pointed star during the communist era. Collar tabs are for a General but shoulder board insignia is for a Lt. Colonel. Not sure what the shoulder cord is for.

100% post-1991, so-called Federal republic of Yugoslavia or Army of Yugoslavia. Pre-1991 (communist period) tunics had buttons with stars, not double-headed eagles. The rank is lieutenant, army (not navy/air force), branch of service cannot be recognized. These collar badges are also odd; these tipes were used on YU pre-1991 parade tunics, but it could be that post-1991 Yugoslavia changed regulations. Augilettes are the same as pre-1991 guard units (gardijske jedinice, NOT "proletarian" units) parade, but again, these were probably adopted by FRY. Is there any maker's label inside? And who's the maker of shoulder board stars (on screw)?

Gordon, a very nice one here! This is musician's so-called "performanc" or "concert" uniform. Rank of military official in the rank of sub-leutenant. The collar badges are the correct ones for musician's concert uniform and the shoulder board "star" is silver and different - more like a rosette. YU military officials always wore silver (stars, piping, collar badges etc.), but officers gold. Official's stuff (silver) is much scarcer than officer's gold one.

Yes this is a very nice tunic. I dug it out of a pile of old tunics in a scrap yard in Belgrade when I lived there. It was buried under a pile of old brown uniforms and all I could see was a litle patch of grey. It took some digging for me to get it out and when I saw it I was very please. It only had the collar tabs when I found it. A collector in Zagreb helped me get the rank stars, a sliver dress belt and the two musician's badges for the shoulders. The badges are still in the pocket of the tunic and one of these days I will get my wife to sew them on. The place where the original badges were removed is very visible. I have never been able to find a visor cap with silver trim to finish off the uniform. I have been told that they did wear them sometimes with the gold trimmed hat but I would prefer a silver one. I have a couple of the gold trimmed ones.
