Hammer & Plow Red Star Cockade

Is this good? It looks good to me, but I want to be sure before I go spending my hard-earned cash. Also, how much is a fair price?

If original, probably the early 1920s. The hammer/sickle was not the official emblem of the Soviet Republics until 1922, until which time this hammer/plough was commonly used instead.

Looks strange. I've seen only stamped stars of this type.

The same is true of all the modern fake ones I've seen - they've all been the common modern stamped reproductions given a fake patina.

I have a cast repro of the hammer/plough from the 1960s USSR (if my info is correct, it was made to be worn in a parade as part of a historical uniform) , but it is not as well finished as this, and it is made of aluminum. I've seen different kinds of small-production type local-made badges from this early period before that were not unlike this, but not of a cockade specifically.

            I'll be more correct:
I've seen only stamped oriiginal stars of this type.
I also think we can't say how well it finished because of bad pics.
            Some examples of fake stars:
