This Early Yoke is to the Norm, The D Rings are to attach a Pattern of Respirator Haversack which is shown in Dress Regulations but never in Historical Documented Images to my knowledge, the Normal Slung Respirator Haversack seemed to be the Norm in the said Documentation.... Later Yokes didn't have the D Rings fitted as the Slung Bag was now the Norm in the Dress Regulation Books..

The Earlier Yokes and Belts had Grey Metal Fittings, later one's tend to be painted Soviet pattern Olive Drab.
