    WWII Russian Overseas Cap

I have this WWII Russian overseas cap for sale on the e-stand right now and would like to have your opinions, because I am not an expert on Russian militaria. I am posting it for another member/potential buyer due to his concern. Thanks you in advance, Jay

Hi Jay, sorry, I would say it is not a wartime example. The cap star is certainly post war too.

              Cheers, Ade.

Thanks Ade, I will remove it from the stand. What era is it from and what would it be worth? Thanks, Jay

I´d say it´s from the 70´s - 80´s, for being worn with the field/labor uniform. If worn in field, star should be olive drab.

Sad to say value is going to be very low, about $15.

                    Cheers, Ade.

I'd say that was a 70's/80's one too.

                      And the capstar certainly is.

                        Thanks

Thank you everyone for your replys and knowledge. It's bad news but at least it kept the prospective buyer and myself from making a mistake. I should have posted it hear before trying to sell it. I don't know much about Russian militaria, but it was sold to me as WWII. Thanks again, Jay
