Russian / Soviet / CCCP Joseph Stalin Wall Plaque

Russian / Soviet / CCCP Joseph Stalin Wall Plaque.

Solidly built, purchased from a German trip several years ago.
Due to finances, I am forced to sell this lovely piece.

Solid Cast metal with very good detail and has a screw on its back. I have made my very best effort to put up as many photos, although the photos do not do justice. A truly lovely piece and ive not seen much of these around.
    This is a historical item.

I'm sorry, but this is not Joseph Stalin.

Yup, it´s not Stalin. Stalin never wore a necktie and his mustache was quite notorious.
I´m quite sure your plaque guy is Kliment Voroshilov.

Hello all - I have copied this thread to the communist forum for discussion.
Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Quote - Sophie Scholl - White Rose resistance group

I agree with Stebalin, it is the former General and Chairman of the Presidum of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Kliment Voroshilov.

No Idea of the value. Try putting it on eBay with a reserve price of what you think is right and let the market dictate the price.

                Best,
                John

                  Military,

Do you have any idea where it is coming from ? Seems like a part of something bigger...
                  Many thanks.

                  Cheers.

                  Ch.

It came as it was, as an individual piece from Berlin a few years ago from an old woman. She spoke no english and i had no chance to obtain more information. She seemed genuine and did not have many items to sell. Apart from this, i purchased a small soviet badge, that had red enamel and was very beautiful.

I don't see why not. Just start a new thread in the International eStand and title it "Soviet Wall Plaque", since most people do not know who Kliment Voroshilov was. However, I have found that items like this do not do well (sell for much) on the eStand. You probably would have more success on eBay.

                        Best,
                        John

I have edited the sales part from this thread.

I think John offers some good advice and I suspect E Bay might offer you the best return. But by all means try the E Stand.

                          Cheers, Ade.
