    WWII or older Russian unknown canvas bag.

    Hi again. Does anyone have a clue for what was that? It has Russian markings but cant see properly what. If I lay my hands on this perhaps I can tell more.
    Was it for cartridges? Even from the Czar era perhaps?

    Looks like the supplemental Moisin Nagant ammo pouch... but that normally has long belt loops to hang down under the normal MN ammo pouches... could be Czarist maybe?? I have never seen one with a strap like that anyway...

        IMHO spare ammo pouch for Mosin rifle,looks like the straps is being replaced from the Zelinski gasmask, but not sure

          Looks vaguely reminiscent of some of the anti-tank rifle ammunition pouches I've seen.
