I believe this is most likely Serb. It could be Bulgarian, but it is NOT Russian Imperial.

Thanks for your answer Desantnik, its most appricated. My first thoughts were Russian due to the inscription but this is obviously wrong.

          Thank you anyway,

          Jens

            Hi Jens,

It is definitely Serbian. Inscription reads "Petar I King of Serbia".

            Best regards,
            Albert

It is the WW1 Serbian Commemorative medal-instituted in December, 1920 for all those who served in the war including Members of parliament and foreign volunteers/members of missions etc. (notibly red Cross workers etc.).

Exactly. Actually, it has to be considered royal yugoslav medal, not serbian. It was awarded in Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians, which was later (1929) renamed to Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Under serbian king Karadjordjevic, of course.

                    Regards, Valter

Well, you're right-but most of the folks who got it served with the Serb forces. Many of the others got Austro-Hungarian awards.
Interestingly I have photos of guys who are wearing awards from both regimes taken in the 1930s.
