Here is a breast insignia I have had in my collection since the early 90s... I was told it is a rare officer one from the Berlinskaya Brigada ... Has anyone ever seen one like this ?

I have a few of these buried somewhere and if I remember, the story I heard was they are for Space Forces, hence the rocket. I think the one worn in the Berlin Brigade and other honor guards looks similar though from my memory of pictures.

Unfortunately, no.

When I mention Space Troops I mean those that are at Baikonur, for example. I also have a set of Russian (post-Soviet) proficiency badges Master through 3rd Class that are definitely for space troops judging from the design, but I've never seen a photo of them worn either. These are offered time to time on Ebay. I don't know how these forces fall into either MOD or the nation's uniformed services structure.
