Does anyone know anythong about Nicaraguan military uniforms from the 1980's time period? Specefically, I am looking for information about the Nicaraguan Battalon De Lucha Irregualr units that were formed to counter the US backed Contras. The BLI was specefically formed to hunt down and capture/kill the FDN. They were trained by the East Germans and Cubans. Does anyone know what tyoe of uniform they wore? It was supposedly different from the regular army. Any help is greatly accepted!
