I am glad that the pla kept the soviet style ushankas and beskozirkas. That way, there is still some Warsaw Pact influence and it shows that China has not succumed to NATO influence!

It seems that the new uniform does not use the golden shoulder boards for parade dress uniform....

I am aware of that, telling from the national emblem on the cap wreath instead of the 八一 (Bayi) on the cap. They are the same uniforms with the exception of insignia.
