ppb shoulder boards ?

can anyone identify these shoulder boards and an aproximate value ?

Errrrm thats a bit weird.

I think whats happened is someone has taken the metal cipher letters from the earlier 1969 pattern enlisted mans boards and stuck them onto some officer's boards.

An enlisted man's boards from the early periods of the 1969 pattern insignia would have been green with "PB" (in cyriillic, or "PV" in Latin script - short for "Pogranichnyie Voiska" - border troops) in metal letters.

So they have just added an extra "P" letter.

Officer's boards never had the cipher on them.

Just someone buggering around trying to sell something as unusual or elite... as usual.
