                Hi Tim,

I'd say put together. With such a jacket, the collar tabs should be with a "golden" metal frame. The shoulder boards should be the same as the ones on your jacket but black color with the same checkered design.Sport badge is ok but there should be some "friends" :eventually a guards badge,a best soldier badge and a proficiency badge (M,1,2 or 3).And on the left arm,a patch with a yellow tank and wreath on black felt.....

Sorry Tim,I'm happy to see that I gave a partly wrong info.
Your vest is correct...The version that I gave regarding another fashion it could be worn could also apply to your jacket.
                    Actually,I found a pic illustrating clearly the subject.It's a Praporschik painting :

When making a close up on the collar and the shoulder boards, you can see that the configuration matches your jacket (except that our warrant officer belongs to artillery)...

So your jacket is 100% genuine....

Thats probably one of the pre-1974 differences of the dress regs.

'74 was a minor set of regulation changes that introduced some refinements - like officer style collar tabs for enlisted men parade jackets and probably an upgrade for warrant officer everyday dress...

I'm still looking for more uniform regs books if anyone has any of 1969 or 1974?
