...Soviet factory marks ???

- INFO WANTED -
I would very much like to find out just what Soviet era
factory used which graphical logo as shown below. Any
and all referrals to others on this question would be most
appreciated. Likewise, if you have any other factory marks
(on flag pole tops) not shown, please do send me a photo
by direct email showing same, so I can add it to my list.

I have a chart of 13 Soviet watch maker logos. I know that they are not from flags, but that does not mean they did not, possibly, make any.

After all:

The Guide-Lamp Division of General Motors produced firearms for the CIA.

General Electric, in addition to refrigerators, produces Rotary Cannons for jet fighters.

Haha, don't forget Triang (now Hornby who makes model railway sets) made Sten SMG's and of course Mattel (of Barbie fame) made plastic furniture for M16's during the Vietnam war (despite not making "war toys" apparently)

Sorry, I digress...

Hello Jon:
A belated thanks for posting the interesting Soviet watch maker logo
chart. Yes, it would seem that a factory would indeed make more than
just one product - one of the known pole top logos is from the Leningrad
Skate Factory, which must have been doing flat metal fabrication work
before WW2 and then switched to making the model-1942/43 flat metal
spear type Soviet flag pole tops. My impression is that post-WW2 pole
top factory marks were mostly of the graphical logo type, see two
examples shown below, my list mark #3 & #9. Someone on this forum
living in Russia today must know what factory these marks belong to?

OLDFLAGSWANTED

Look at this site. They are Soviet Camera maker logos.

http://www.zenitcamera.com/qa/qa-logos.html

I looked and none of them match. But this is still a good website to take note of.

Jon.

Hello again Jon:
Nice information! These factory logos seem to be a
whole study case on their own! Just noticed in an
East German photo what looks like factory logos
on factory display posters on the wall of a DDR-KG
unit meeting room - more examples to find out about?
