        I don't think it's anything special. The one I have in front of me is exactly the same (with the 2 thin red lines).
        Still, it's a classic. They don't make 'em like that no more.

          Hi Eric, I also do not think that it is anything special...I am not sure, but I thought that there was a difference in these badges somewhere for different ranks or at least different groups of officers...is that true? Cheers, Torsten.
