I have started to put together a collection of Hungarian camouflage items. Here is some from the communist era. I'll include photos of more modern camo for comparison purposes.

First up are pictures of the M1949 pattern camo as used on a shelter half. This three colour pattern was developed from the earlier M1938 and was similar to the older model but had blurred edges. The two shelter quarters differ considerably in colour with the one in the forground looking more green than the other which has a more brown tone to it. The further one in the picture is the closest one to the actual colour.
