This is funny. I don't know if this is for real but the seller has 100% positive feedback.
He says that the gilted has been re-applied and the enamel replaced. He further states that the book is incorrect along with the screwplate. Other then those flaws you will be happy with this piece.

Well, I'll be darned.

I bought this back in Moscow in July 1996 and in August 1996 I sold this to the seller. It was looked at by Igor M. of Atlantic Crossroads at a Great Western show that fall when the current owner had it and Igor told him exactly what he wrote in the auction. The buyer was happy with it despite that (they weren't expensive back then) and that was that. I have known the seller since the early 90s and he's about as stand up and righteous as they come, but he doesn't regularly deal in Soviet awards.

I never thought I'd see that medal again!
