Help with Russia / Soviet 1942 military mapping symbols.

I am looking for a webpage or reference book with Russia / Soviet 1942 military weapons and units (Battalion and company level) symbols used on wartime maps.

I need all types of units including infantry, engineers, reconnaissance, artillery, tanks, communications, support elements, supply, logistics… Can you name the number items? Russian, German or English text is OK!



Нужна помощь в расшифровке условный обозначений военых карт СССР 41-42гг.

Разыскиваю справочник вооружений, техники и военных подразделений (на уровне батальонов и рот) армии СССР в период 1941- 42 годов, а также справочник условных обозначений использованных в военных картах этого периода времени.

Ищу перечень всех видов военных подразделений 41-42 гг., включая пехотные, инженерные, разведовательные, артиллерийские, танковые и вспомогательные войска. Язык документов русский или английский в электронном или бумажном формате.
Нужна помощь в расшифровке следующих обозначений (см. приложение).
Буду благодарен за любую помощь.

there is a series of books from Charles Sharp "Soviet Order of Battle for WW2" and one of them lists all the map symbols, which were used. The name is "Soviet Infantry Tactics in World War II" and it costs about 19 Dollar. Btw, for unit research this series is very recommendable. Its available at CollectRussia for example:

The lower right words starting with "3a.." is a "Blocking Battalion" - the guys who shot any stragglers retreating from the front line unit.
