I have recently purchased this cross and am so happy with it I had to paste the pictures

Another neck award to my Polish collection - lovely Polonia Restituta Grand Commander Class decoration.

It has arrived today. According to the age showing it is supposed to be Commander class (III class) - the suspension ring looks new and is either a replacement or add on to 'upgrade the award to the Grand Commander class (II class). On the picture above the rings are in wrong positions though - according to the Grand Commander wearing setup.

I don't know if it was originally Grand Commander or not so I change the rings setup for the higher class... hence I am willing to change the rings positions and leave the cross as Grand Commander.

What is Your opinion about this change? Would You do that were You in my place? (The replacement suspension ring is a correct one and the ribbon shows the Grand Commander wearing...)
