NKVD badge?

Hello folks. This must be the first time I have posted something in here. But I do got this badge, and wanted to know what it is, and if it is worth a price worth to meantion?

I belive this to be a member badge for the NKVD, or a members badge on to organisation that came before or after NKVD (MBA?). And that this badge was made during the 1950`s. Right?

MVD Badge

Very nice badge! I've got one in my collection, it is one of my favorite badges. Actually your badge was issued by the MVD, or the Ministry of the Interior. If I am not mistaken, that was issued to the Militia or the Police.

Thanks for the info, and the nice coments! I actually got this badge from a former Waffen-SS veteran. Dont know why he had it though.... I would be interesting to know if it is of any value?
