The cloth WW2 tanker helmets are no problem. Check with Igor at Collectrussia.com. I got my nice leather helmet from him. Ostfront.com recently listed original and postwar tank goggles at a very fair price. I just ordered a set, haven't gotten them yet.
If you want a helmet for playing you can get a post war example very cheap, I could be wrong but I think it is close or same as a late WW2 pattern.
The tanker coveralls are difficult. I won't be ready to buy a set until I have studied the period photos carefully. I have no doubt a lot of Russian garage mechanics would be very happy to sell their greasy coveralls to a collector for a month's pay!
Like Rick said, space is a problem. With every branch of collecting interest, I need a few feet of bookshelf space as well! Gotta have that reference material!
