Medal for liberation of Belgrade

Hi,

I'm not familiar with soviet medals, so I would like to ask for some help about the medal for liberation of Belgrade. What is your oppinion on this medal. Is it an original medal?

Those medals are heavily faked. I rec buying from a reputable dealer only.

Impossible to say with these pics. As mentioned, this one is the most faked campaign medal so good quality pics are necessary. I have a good 1st variant myself and took me ages to find.

Thank you all. I'm aware that this is one of the most faked medal. Therefore, I would like to hear the opinion of experienced collectors. At the moment I have only these photos, which I'm aware that they are not of the highest quality. I will try to get better photos.

Hi Sebastijan

Soviet campaign medals can be challenging which for me is half the hobby. I allways find some die maker flaws on recognized originals and remember them. For this particular medal the die maker got bored and accidentially made a pattern in the pebbeld background on the obverse of the medal. This feature including the berrie position over the russian letter that looks like a double x and you should be home safe. That said you should allways evaluate the whole piece.
