Medal identified

Hello all;
Just received this medal from a friend who got back from the Ukraine.
He picked it up at a flea market.
-Ribbon is orange and black striped
-one side has the date 1941-1945rr, also little tiny star at the bottom of medal.
-Other side has portrait of Stalin.
-All writting is in Russian (obviously)

I have no pics nor can I post any at this time. Any and all help will be appreciated.
