Marshal of the Soviet Union!!!

A friend offered me two Uniforms for a Marshall of the Soviet Union.
One Parade and one "Mess Dress" or what we called it "Vodka Uniform".
The size is about 54-4.

uniforms

The uniforms are "right" but they are either unissued, or, like most on places like E-bay, are modern put togethers made in Ukraine. They are nice to wear, but not real in the sense that they were not actually owned by a Marshal of the USSR. These are pretty common, I get offered them from sources now and then. The real issued ones are much tougher to get and in great demand; I have a wating list of clients for postwar ones!

Be sure that these are not from the Ukraine.
They are comming from a Storage in Moscow.
Last week, a Ukrainian Guy brought some of the, what they call "last Type" ones, but they are only good for Halloween.

overproduction

The soviets overproduced so much that it does not suprise me what still shows up from the unissued storage rooms. These are nice display uniforms.

I still think they are pretty neat. When the wall first fell, I tried to get as much USSR stuff as I could (as well as DDR) when it first hit the US. I wouldn't mind havin one of these myself....
