Is this a real Soviet WW2 Helmet?

Is this a real Soviet ww2 helmet? Appears to be dated 1941. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I conxsider it is early postwar helmet issue 1947.

I think it maybe is what it claims to be. That said, I'm only 50/50 on it. The red star on front would certainly be considered odd for a 1941 dated helmet.

If it's original it's been severely over-cleaned at some point. The maker stamp is the correct format for a helmet from the 1941 time frame but I have recently seen convincing copies. It makes me wonder if the over-cleaning was to hide a bogus maker mark.

If it can be had cheap it may be worth the risk.
