Hello everyone.
This sidecap was found in some old house in Slovenia (former Yugoslavia). It is yet to be determined if it's ww2 or post war but the thing that caught my eye is the material it is made from. Here I have my hopes up that you might be able to help identifying it.
It looks like HBT fabric in khaki brown color. It's somewhat rough on touch, so I don't think it is made from material commonly used as tunic/coat lining material which is smoother and somewhat shiny.
Does anybody recognize the material? ww2, post war? Even pointing me to a direction would greatly help. I am posting photos from whole cap, the inside and the texture of material.
Regards,
D
