Face protection mask - early BW, custom made?!

Some times ago I received this face mask together with loads of Bundeswehr material. Regarding the material its similar to the first warmth protection suit ment to be worn underneath the splinter camo suit, aka Teddy-Bear suit. The overal making is professional, so at lest a professional tailor was involved in the construction.... sadly no stamp or label states an official origin.

But it looks quite nice in combination with contemorary items...

What an interesting piece! Definitely professionally made. Maybe it was created for GJ as very cold conditions were a normal part of their training?

GJ can be,
about 35 yrs ago I got a bunch of them in a shop in Bavaria in a village called Brannenburg, not to confuse with Brandenburg in the north.
Not far, they had a GJ Kaserne.

Nico, thats an interesting information! If there were more of them it's at least possible that they were out of an internal made series. This would declare the material, rhe profassional construction and the absense of an label....
