Early BW Coat ?

Hello!


During cleaning up a storage facility this Bundeswehr coat was found. It seems it is a very early model, issued 1957-1960. Can anyone confirm this and maybe write some additional information?

It is a DDR great coat (Mantel). If the stamp in the lower right reads "I/2" (I can't quite make it out), then it was produced in 1982.

It's interesting, because the coat was found in Western Germany
Enclosed a better picture showing the marking inside the coat.

1980s DDR Zoll Mantel. Steve is correct for the date markings.

Some more information on the markings in this DDR great coat. The m 52 is the size. Klaus says it was a Zoll coat because of the Z l markings. The 1806 is the manufacturers code for the factory that made the coat. Early DDR great coats had 10 buttons. Later ones had 8 buttons on the front. Yours probably has 8. There are/were lots of DDR items in West Germany after the fall of the wall.
