My neighbor said you are collecting uniform and stuff!

Her brother died and there are uniforms left.
I was happy hurray The brother had been very early (1956) in the Bundeswehr.
Yes, what I did not know he was at the customs after the Bundeswehr.

Very nice items. Especially like those Zoll ties and sporthemd.

So he transferred from the (BGS) Bundes Grenz Schultz (forerunner of Bundeswehr BW) to the Zoll (customs) service. Shown are later customs garments.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't see any BGS items in that lot, and the original post only mentioned him being in the Bundeswehr.

(Although it is, of course, possible, as many of the original cadre when the Bundeswehr was founded were transferees from the BGS.)

Some very uncommon items, for sure. I used to collect such things, but in an effort to not have my house explode because of too much stuff, I sold off most of my Zoll, ZB, and THW stuff. If I was still collecting Zoll, you'd have a message in your inbox already

From my experience these items are almost impossible to find. Yes, a sweater, jacket, or hat comes up on eBay from time to time. But the rest of the items? Not often, if ever. I am sure you will find someone who will give them a good home.

                    Steve

                      Hello Steve,
                      Thank you for your words!
Yes, I have never seen anything like this before!
                      Sports suit or belt
and of course the wishes of the other friends.
I'm happy early Bundeswehr would have been more pleased now!
But if you need something from the pile? report to me!
