    Neat field Jacket

https://m.imgur.com/NQ4d1W8So I was redirected to this part of the forum from another, and with me I bring questions about this German military jacket. Do you think it’s genuine. It seems to be missing all tags and also has a few stains. But most importantly can you tell me the history of it and where it was used and how it was used?!
I found it at a second hand store for 20 dollars so I bought it mainly because it looked intresting.

    Have a look here:

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/Foru...d.php?t=524674

    and here:

    http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/bundes...niforms-65151/

These uniforms were known by the epithet "Filzlaus".

Google it in conjunction with 'Bundeswehr' and you'll find lots of other images (and information).

Looks like yours has pointed epaulets, yes? If so then it was manufactured between 1959 and 1962. Rounded type was made from 1963 through the 1970s (1974? I forget).

Did you have a look at the inner side of the inside pocket? There the labels can be found...
