Affenjacke color- Heer vs Lufwaffe

I have always assumed the affenjacke (3 button) was the same color for both Heer and Luftwaffe- the difference being the LW had the cuffbands and the Heer used the metal branch collar insignia and later the colored litzen. Then when the 4 pocket jackets came into being in 1958- Heer got the grey and LW thier blue.

In other words- Heer and LW used the same affenjacke- but different insignia

I am asking as a relative of mine in Germany has found me a very nice July 1956 dated affenjacke- it has early altgold metal branch badges on the collar- but based off the pics it seems a little more bluish-grey than I thought- but then again looking at photos online- some with Heer insignia seem greyer, some like this one I am getting darker more bluish grey

I will post pics asap- the ones I have from my relative arent the best- so once I get the jacket in the post I will put up here

there is no official difference in the color up to 1957.

The differnce can be caused by
- different makers,
- new, unwashed or cleaned,
- influence of long solar radiation

The text is unambiguously (23. Juli 1955):
"Der Dienstanzug beim Heer, bei der Luftwaffe und bei den Marine-Landteilen ist schiefergrau, ..."

The change (22. Februar 1957):
"Beim Heer ist der Rock hellgrau, die Hose dunkelgrau.
Bei der Luftwaffe sind Rock und Hose blaugrau."

Thank you so much Uwe! Since mine is dated 1956-July, its good. I was afraid I had a LW jacket that someone stuck Heer altgold emblems on.

what Uwe said. Some of the early uniforms have a slight bluish tint in some lightings, even though are supposed to be grey. Is only maker/dye variation.
