OLC Bundeswehr Buckle?

I have this simple buckle 5cm x 3,5cm of which I think is after 1949. Could someone confirm this is a Bundeswehr buckle?

If the width of the leather belt is 3 cm it is for sure a Bw Hosenkoppel.

I have 15 of these and use them all the time!
In my opinion the best belt ever designed.

I agree! I have a ton of them as well and have a dedicated belt for each of my many camouflage work trousers. That way I don't have to keep swapping the belt around They are very robust, however over time they do break down as leather does, especially because these belts weren't designed to do hard labor.

One piece of advice for frequent use is to switch the direction it feeds into your belt loops. This keeps the belt from "sagging", which it will do over time since gravity is always tugging on the trousers.
