    LSG Unit question

A Collectors Mate got this ID and now we try to find out the Unit.
I know only the 4-didgit Numbered Units, so I'm a bit confused with this one.
    Maybe somebody knows it.

Could it be a unit of the British "German Civil Labour Organisation"? I'm asking because of the spelling of the word "Labour".

I second that, it must be British.

I think, that (DG) stand for "Dienstgruppe".

In the British Zone of Occupation existed a (German) Labour Service, and this name (Bezeichnung) ended in August 1947.

The new name was German Civil Labour Organisation (GCLO), later (1950) German Service Organisation (GSO).
