Interesting German Medal Bar w/ US Awards

Saw this interesting piece on German eBay. While the US Army Commendation Medal is not necessarily unusual on a foreign bar, the US Good Conduct Medal is, as it is only awarded to US servicemembers. So...possibly a German soldier who did an enlistment in the US Army first? Interesting bar, I imagine the small Good COnduct ribbon bar would have had to be custom made

German soldiers who served in US units, in headquarters etc could earn US awards.
I knew of German soldiers with CIB, one with a Bronce Star and ohter medals.

      So I don´t wonder...

I got the Joint Service Archievement Medal in 1996 and still don´t know, why.

Yes, it's not uncommon to see an Army Achievement or Commendation Medal on a German bar, but the Good Conduct Medal is awarded to enlisted soldiers who essentially behave themselves (no NJP, court martial, etc), for a period of 3 years. I am pretty sure it is not awarded to those not serving in the US Military
