Hard to tell due to the possible lighting conditions of the photos, but for sure this is BRD law enforcement. There's a couple of hats that have green piping and a simple bullseye. The most likely suspect is BGS, but IIRC 1950s Hesse, S-H, and maybe others also had a simple bullseye and green piping.

Good lighting, that accurately reflects the actual color, is very important in determining the difference.

Come to think of it, some of the early 1950s caps definitely would not apply because they used a different style wool. So while they might have had a "bullseye" and green piping, they cloth would be distinctly different looking.
