I've seen these patches with "JG 74" on the lower rocker. Was there a pre-June 2005 JG 74 patch with "Molders" like below, or is this a fantasy patch?

Not my focus of collecting but a pocket hanger (Internes Verbandsabzeichen) with exact the same design does exist. So I'm sure your patch is for sure no fantasy insignia. -

No fantasy piece. Standard badge until the name was taken away from the wing. Then the word Mölders was replaced by JG 74. Now it is TLwG 74 or TLG 74, don't know exactly, I flew there the last time in 2013.Comment
