not look like anything German - look more British-influenced. Not sure, maybe some Near Eastern army? I would post in the international subforum for more answers.

Swedish, though some say Norway bought a batch as well. I've never seen a well used set like this! They usually come in new or near new condition. They've been sold in large quantities in the US through places like Sportsmans Guide. IIRC I bought 4 sets from them once when they were blowing them out at a really low price.

I'm not sure of the timeframe these were used. I think 1970s and 1980s.
