GSG9 helmet??

I think its a GSG9 but not sure. Opinion on value??

Yes, is 1970s GSG 9 Springerhelm with correct liner and paint. On ebay.de, some have sold recently for about EUR 100 or so.

Definitely GSG-9. These come up on German eBay with surprising regularity. I agree the price is usually no less than EUR 100, but sometimes they go for a little more. There are, of course, sellers that start the bidding much higher and then are forced to drop their asking price.

Such helmets also were carried in German SEK´s, (Spezialeinsatzkommando´s der Deutschen Polizei), a special unit of the German Police.

I think the helmets in use with SEK are not the same color as the GSG-9, but I am not sure of that. Some helmets are of similar design but not the same. I have a SEK helmet from Baden that has many differences. I don't know if that is true for other SEK units.

Thx. Steve, yes, you might be right.
I´ve got my informations from collectors mates from Germany.
I do believe, that SEK ´s in different Ländern in Germany had different colours.

Some SEK units had helmet, that appear to be cut down Bw FJ helmet (and repainted). I think, that Baden-Württemberg used them, if not others. These appear for sale sometimes also. Maybe this was Steve mean?

I bought mine 3 years ago from a guy who had a couple, but he sold them all. The price was around EUR 100 (IIRC EUR 115). Mine is not for sale, sorry.
