Forum Members, My apologies if this is the wrong section......Moderator, please feel free to move at your discretion......In my travels today I came across an Albert Einstein Strasse porcelain sign.....It is blue with white lettering and border, about 4" wide by about 3' long.....Pretty heavy and in pretty nice condition....Only real wear is where the mounting holes are located.....
Now, I know this sign would have been put up following WW2 as Einstein immigrated to the United States before the outbreak of the war....And the National Socialists would never put up a street sign for any body of Jewish decent....My question is, have these been faked and if it is original, what would be the going rate for something like this?.....I have enclosed internet photos of an Adolf Hitler Strasse sign which is similarly made....Any information/advise appreciated as usual.....Bodes
