Definitely not German. Add a second vote two US Special Forces, though that's not a flash I'm familiar with. Closest I can think of is the mirror image (i.e. wrong facing) of 6SFG.

The closest match would be 10th SF that were operating out of Bad Tolz (Junkerschule Tolz for the Waffen SS). The flash colors are off a little, but a limited run, mistakes happen. The first Pysop/USACAPOC patch was delivered with the colors reversed for the BDU.
