US Chocolate chip with BW badges

This is an interesting combination;US army issue camo with German badges.
The arm badge looks nice with that crossed machinegun barrels.
Found it as it is but I don't know what the story behind it is,so any information is appreciated.
    All the best,
    Kees.

      Hi Kees,

left badge is the Brustanhänger of Panzerflakbataillon 111 (Achim near Bremen), disbanded in 2003.
Arm shield is a 2./111 battery cloth patch)

Right badge is the Brustanhänger of German Training Area Hohenfels.

Clearly visible the Obergefreite Balken on the collar.

      I'd guess a self-made fantasy piece of a former Obergefreiter of 2./111.

      Regards

      Lars

        Lars thanks for that information.
I thought it had a chance being a jacket from a BW unit attached to US troops during some middle eastern deployment.
The barrels on that armpatch must be the barrels of a Gepard then ?
Always found the Gepard an impressive piece of hardware, must be awesome firing such a weapon.
        All the best,
        Kees

Yes, Gepard. I've seen this Flakpanzer in action during live firing in Todendorf/Putlos several times back then, VERY impressive.

I was a 50 caliber gunner during my army service.
I found firing that weapon erotically arousing.
Gepard gunners must know that feeling even more.
At least a nice badge to add to my patch collection.
            All the best,
            Kees

What an amazing demonstration of panzer flak. I can understand the exuberance of those crew members.
