All white waterproof unknown visor

A "Nordsee Mütze" made by Buss & Simon,Wilhelmshaven.
Top and band constructed in artificial leather.
No vent holes ,plastic chinstrap and leather sweatband.
Some sort of maritime visor judging by that maker,but what does it represent with that official looking kokarde and wreath ?
A visor for some sort of casino tunic ?

No idea, but I have to say I thought "Wasser" when I saw the picture. But that is only a gut impression.

To me it looks more like a "Bierkutscher" Mütze, so a Beer Delivery Guy for the Pubs with an added Cap Badge.
I guess there was a hole from the Breweries Badge so they added what they got in the Box.

I took the badges of and it seems they have been there a long time.
However in the inside lining are 2 holes visible from another badge that was on the the front before what is (was) on now.
Two holes exactly the same distance apart as the kokarde,so 15mm.
So they didn't need to drill new holes for that kokarde,but used the ones from the former badge wich must have been a small one as well.
Civil water transport like a reederei or ferry service is also an option perhaps.

everything is possible, but my feeling goes to the Brewery as they have the washable Cover. My Dad had the same after his University when he dcelivered Beer for making some money.
From what I see I would say it's a late 60's or very early 70's Cap.

Gentlemen,I can proudly present my first "Bierkutscher" mütze,with a pinback badge picturing the Barre privatbrauerei brand logo.
