    BGS uniform sizes

    Hello,
Does anyone know what sizes the BGS uses for it's uniforms?
I want to buy a uniform for a mannequin, but I can't find out what they mean.

I saw for example a jacket that had this on the label:
    BUND
    8405-022784
    940
    BA145 / 77 / II
    Weber Bekl. Werke.

I'd say that 940 would be the size... but what size ?

    Thanks!

Never saw a zize like this.
Normally by the BW Code or Height, waist, Breast, Arm length.
Saw also some newer Clothing with Nato Sizing. like 7075/0005

I look at my uniforms (all 1950s-early 60s) and they are marked each different. For the wool tunics, one marked with European chest size "46" and "I". Other is unmarked, except "II". Not sure, if these Roman numbers mean something? Greatcoat and service shirt have several sizes (like Nico mention). Camouflage jackets have label with 2 or 3-digit size (typically 90s and 100s) - my jacket has "102" for example (larger tall size).

      Regards
      Klaus

so a long 50/51. there are also short sizes like 25, what would be a short 50.
Roman Numerals I know from Overgarment only.
Shirt's have the Collar Size in cm or like in the Bundeswehr from 1-9. Maybe there are others too, but I never saw a 10 or larger.
Here are some BW Sizes what I also saw in older grey BGS Shirts.

I think the numerals on tunics could be early. Not seen on the later tunics (1960s or later), that I can remember. But both early tunic in collection have them and the one with "II" (maybe Euro 48 or 50) is somewhat larger than "I" (Euro 46).

Here are some photo's from a uniform from my collection and from the label from this post.

94 is probably the size indication, but I almost can't believe that 145/77/11 would be the exact sizes in centimeters.

Than it would be for a guy of 145 cm long

94 sounds like the size but never saw a 940. Maybe the same with some coding. The BA Code is the Contract. Can't remember what the B means but the A is for sure for "Auftrag" Maybe Contract 145 of 1977
