    Bundeswehr early Trousers 1955

    Hello,
a few months ago i had the chance to close another gap in my collection. A piece so rare that i never thought i could get one.
Trousers first model made in 1955. In mint and unissued condition. Maker, size and date are stamped inside. There's still the makers papertag at the back stamped "Vert. Min.-Koblenz" wich means Verteidigungsministerium Koblenz (Ministry of Defence, Koblenz).
The best in condition and earliest made i have ever seen.

    Regards, Christian

Indeed quite rare. I am always wondering why those early trousers are so soldom. WWII trousers, even panzer or Stug trousers are mass goods compared to it.

Not only rare, but without moth damage and unissued? Amazing!!

It seems the big difference is the rear pockets. There are two of them and neither have flaps. I wonder when they changed the design?

          Hello!

I also have a pair of these early style trousers (without the flaps) but dated 1960 in mint condition. I must say I have never found another again.

I maybe will sell them or trade them. I dont know its value but if they are so rare I want to know what will they be worth?

          thanks for an answer

          regards
          Michael
