      sammlermws,

Very nice piece and an excellent display. Is the scope numbered the same as the number on the carrier?

      Regards,

      Gordon

          Well done Sir!

I bought an APEX G-1 kit last year but it will be a long time before I get it to look like yours.

Thanks for taking the time to share your marvelous collection with us.

          All the best,
          TJ

Very nice! The FAL rifles were always a favorite of mine. Is that a Hensoldt scope?

              Gordon,
Yes, the scope matches the carrier. This is the scope I posted awhile ago that came with a group of DDR and BRD stuff. Since I had the scope, I needed to build up a rifle around it. Like most collections, you find one cool item and must find everything else it goes with.
Yesterday I just bought an all matching StG58 to go with my Austrian uniform...it never ends. When I get enough space to pull stuff out of storage and time to do so, I want to photograph all my BW and NVA stuff as sets now that I have the appropriate weapons for each uniform and time period. Well, I'm still looking for an RPD

                sammlermws,

Thanks for the response. Looking forward to some interesting pictures of uniforms with the appropriate weapon. Good luck in the hunt for an RPD. There used to be a lot of them around but they seem to have dried up over the last few years.

                Regards,

                Gordon
