Does anyone know if the Bundespolizei aircrew are wearing a blue version of the BGS flight jacket? I've not seen any blue flight gear as of yet.

I found a few photos showing what appears to be blue flightsuits and flight jackets. Quite a few photos showing the green flightsuits and jackets still being worn in the blue Bundespolizei helicopters.

Interesting to see that they are wearing the new Aviation unit patches on their right arms.
The first one shown in photo 4 is Fliegerstaffel North (Seahorse) and the last one shown in photo 6 is Fliegerstaffel South (Mountain Goat)Comment

I would say yes. The pictures you posted certainly look blue to me. The new uniforms have been in use long enough now for everyone to have been issued the blue ones. Probably too soon for any to hit the surplus market yet though. Here is a picture whose caption indicates this was taken when the new blue uniforms for the BPOL were introduced. It shows a blue flight suit.

Thanks for your comments and photo. My initial post was looking to see if BPOL would issue/use a blue version of the leather flight jacket. Judging from the cloth jackets being worn in the photo's, it would appear unlikely.
